Creative juices are rolling through my head. There are so many story ideas that I want to flesh out and write. It's been so long since I last wrote a story. I think the last one I wrote was for my creative writing class during Freshman year of college. In other words, three point five years ago. The urge to write seems to coincide with my Writing for Radio, TV and Media final. The assignment is to write the first 20 minutes of a teleplay based on a literary work. I had the biggest problem deciding on a book. At first, I wanted to do a Sweet Valley High book but there had already been a television series. Next, I thought of a couple other books ranging from fairytale-esque to non-fiction. Finally, while watching About a Boy, I chose Christopher Pike's "The Immortal" as the lucky book. Maybe, when I finish the assignment, my muse will stay with me and help me write a prose piece, novelle or novel. We'll see...
